Owerri-North And Imo House Of Assembly 2023

My dear brethren,
2023 Presidential Election had gone. Although it didn’t meet most of our expectations, we leave everything to the Tribunal and urge all losers, to go to court and seek redress.
But in the next two weeks, March 11, that which has direct bearing on us as Owerri-North citizens, will play out. Are there things we need to do, to make sure that from the word go, we get machinery in place to deliver?
There has being disquiet on the issue of zoning. Whose turn is it?
There are divided opinion but can we resolve these divisions, so that it doesn’t further cause rancor amongst us?

Chief Oyinatumba, Otuji Mba Abua Na’ebu.                                        I am reliably informed that, Imo State House Assembly slot for Owerri-North, is zoned to Orji-Uratta bloc. How true is this? If true, how do we get other blocs, particularly Emii-Emekuku bloc to be persuade not to support and not to vote their son, the incumbent Hon. Philip Ejiogu?

But others argue that zoning had gone round and there is need to start two terms per bloc. If so, shouldn’t we allow Hon. P. Ejiogu to have a second bite at the cherry?
We must like brothers, unknot this tie.
Two weeks may be far but in politics, votes, opinions can swing faster than the current of Onumurukwa.
I appeal to all leaders of thought in Owerri-North, as a matter of urgency, convoke a meeting and address this issue.
Whatever is resolved, should be binding and we move on into Election with on Unity of purpose to support the bloc whose turn it is.
Sincerely yours,
©️ Chief Felix Ashimole; OYINATUMBA 1 of Azaraubo Autonomous Community, Emekuku, Owerri-North.
