Martin Agbaso Picks Imo LP Guber Ticket With N25M

We are reliably informed by impeccable sources in Labour Party that Chief Martin Agbaso, the Coordinator of Peter Obi-Datti Campaign Council in Imo State, has payed N25,000,000 to collect the Expression of interest and nomination form of Labour Party to contest for Imo State Governorship election slated to take place in November 2023.
In 2001, Chief Martin Agbaso was the Special Assistant on Ecology, to President Olusegun Obasanjo, a role he played up to 2004.

Before joining LP, Chief Agbaso was  the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for gubernatorial election in Imo State in 2007, was factional national leader of APGA until Supreme Court judgment in 2018 affirmed Victor Oye as the national chairman of APGA.

Shortly after the Supreme Court judgement, Chief Martin joined APC, mobilized for Hope Uzodinma to become Governor and remained a member of APC until Peter Obi made him campaign council member in 2022.
