LP Imo Guber Primaries; Civilians At War With The Military

The battle has narrowed to civilians versus retired military personnel.
The militarized civilians, are coming in strong with their argument that, the greatest challenge facing Imo State, is insecurity.
They pitch that, they will bring their military training to bear, if trusted by LP Delegates to confront the incumbent, Governor Hope Uzodinma.
The military wanting to be civilians, are; Maj-Gen Lincoln Jack Ogunewe(Rtd) and Capt. David Mbamara (Rtd)
On the civilian corner, counting on experience, technocrat, dexterity to resolve and rebuild Imo, is led by Chief Matins Agbaso (Ochoudo)
These civilians opine that these militarized civilians have not fully imbibed the civilian decorum required to govern a complex civil service state like Imo State. They further contend that the roles played by these men during Operation Python dances, should make Imolites think twice before granting them access to Douglas House.

Interestingly, both corners, supported Peter Obi, with each claiming to be more OBident than the other. This has thrown Imo OBident family into quagmire.
I am reliably informed that the delegate pendulum, is swinging between Chief Matins Agbaso and Maj-Gen Lincoln Ogunewe (rtd) but the odds are stacked heavily against Agbaso.  Some Delegates are refusing to forgive him for allowing Rochas to become Governor of Imo State.
This accusation is shrouded in mystery but they point out that his brother Jude, served in the administration of Rochas Anayo Okorocha.
His greatest obstacle, is LP’s victory in the just concluded election. The Senator-elect, Sen Ezenwa Onyewuchi, is from the same LGA-Owerri North.
A group of Delegates are rioting that it will not be fair and equitable, to cede the Guber ticket to Owerri-North, is at all the party wants to concede the ticket to Owerri Zone.
This disadvantage to Agbaso, is a plus to Ogunewe, who comes from Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government.

It is believed among the delegates that LP’s votes for Obi in Mbaise, a fortress of PDP due to Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, was due to the resilience and military tactics of Ogunewe.
They further contend that, with Ihedioha out of the race(Ihedioha stepped down from contesting PDP Guber primaries), Mbaise-Ngor Okpala is open for grabs in the forthcoming November election. Mbaise-Ngor Okpala is to Imo State, what Kano votes are to any presidential election.
Where will the pendulum stop and like the game of of  music chair, who gets to sit on the shoulders of the Delegates as the victory lap is done?
