It is universally agreed that man is made in the image of a supernatural being, who sent him on pilgrimage to Earth, to be his Ambassador.
While on Earth, man interacts with others in a mimicry of what life was, before he came to this earth. The more man by his conduct of attempting to be godly towards his fellow man, the greater his chances of reuniting with his God after his mission on Earth is over.
Over the years, the interaction between man and man, keeps changing. These changes are first resisted by those who claim to be nearer and hear from God.
But as time dwindles and God has not catastrophically ended the world in one angry swoop, man started too, to evaluate what makes him acceptable to his God.One of the significant change, is the mode of relating with his God. The mode of worship and appeasement, have changed, leaving no body in doubt that God too, is evolving in accordance with the wish of man.
You cannot be rich and still sacrifice a day old chick to your deity, when you have been blessed to afford a goat or cow!
