There are numerous igbo dialects but the standard written form, is based on mixture of Owerri and Umuahia dialects.
There are 36 alphabets in Igbo language. featuring 28 consonants (mgbochiume) and 8 vowels (ụdaume).
The vowels are; a ị ọ ụ, i, o, e and u.
The consonants are the rest of the alphabets. 
Pronunciation of each alphabet is the same as when it appears in any word as a letter, although they sound longer or are stretched a bit more as alphabets.
